Sign-in sits behind the Login control in the top-right corner of the site, or the account icon in the app. If that is not the problem, jump straight to the relevant fix:
Three routes into the account

Desktop browser
The Login control opens a two-field overlay rather than a separate page. Credentials are the username created at registration, not the email address — a distinction that trips up players returning after a long gap. Sessions expire after a period of inactivity and require a fresh sign-in rather than silently refreshing.
Mobile browser
The HTML5 site presents the same overlay behind the menu icon. Nothing is lost against desktop: the same lobby, the same banking area, the same promotions. On smaller screens the overlay can sit below the fold after the on-screen keyboard opens, which occasionally reads as a frozen form when it is simply scrolled out of view.
Casino app
The iOS and Android apps carry the same credentials as the browser, but the first launch after an update usually requires a full re-authentication rather than restoring the previous session. Biometric unlock, where the device supports it, is set from within the app after the first successful sign-in. More on the app in the app and mobile review.
Resetting a forgotten password
Open the reset link from the login overlay
The "forgot password" control sits directly under the password field.
Enter the registered email address
It has to be the address supplied at registration. A different address produces no error message and no email — the form behaves identically either way.
Follow the link and set a new password
The password field accepts letters and numbers only, the same constraint applied at registration. Generated passwords containing symbols will be rejected or silently cut.
Check the Promotions and Spam folders first — reset mail from gaming operators is routinely filtered. Then confirm the address is the one used at registration; an address changed at the mail provider but not in the account will never receive it. If neither applies, 24/7 live chat through the Help Centre can trigger the reset manually after identity questions, and a Canadian support line is published on 1-866-745-2416.
Five reasons a login is refused
Credentials are correct but rejected
The most likely cause is a password saved by a manager before the letters-and-numbers restriction cut it. What the manager stored and what the account holds are then different strings. Running a reset resolves it in a minute; retrying the stored password never will.
The account is locked after repeated attempts
Consecutive failed attempts trigger a temporary lock as a brute-force defence. It clears on its own after a cooling period. Live chat can confirm the lock and its remaining duration, but cannot shorten it.
A verification hold is in place
Identity checks can restrict account access as well as payouts, and they are frequently triggered by a withdrawal request rather than before one. If a payout was requested shortly before access failed, this is almost certainly the cause. Submitting the outstanding documents lifts it — the requirements are listed in the withdrawal guide.
Self-exclusion or a time-out is still running
A self-exclusion or cooling-off period blocks sign-in for its full duration, and it cannot be shortened, waived or reset by support. That is the safeguard working exactly as designed, not a fault to be worked around. Anyone finding the wait difficult can reach free, confidential help at ConnexOntario in Ontario or ProblemGambling.ca elsewhere in Canada — both operate independently of any operator.
Access from an unsupported location
Licensing is territorial. Signing in from a jurisdiction the operator is not licensed to serve returns a block. Routing around it with a VPN breaches the terms and gives the operator grounds to void winnings and close the account — a poor trade against waiting until back in a served province.
Keeping the account secure
Two habits cover most of the risk. The first is a password used nowhere else, which matters more here than on an ordinary site because the account holds a payment relationship. The second is checking the destination before entering credentials.
That second point is not theoretical. A domain presenting itself as the official Canadian site appears in search results for this brand and publishes materially different figures — a different welcome offer, a different founding year, a different payout timeframe. It is not operated by the licence holder.
- Check the footer for a licence number. The genuine operator publishes Kahnawake licence 00892 and the registered company name, Baytree Interactive Ltd, at the foot of every page.
- Compare the welcome offer against the published terms. A site advertising a materially different bonus for the same brand is not the same operator.
- Treat unsolicited bonus emails with suspicion. Reach the account by typing the address or using a saved bookmark, never through a link in a promotional message.
- Set a deposit limit while signed in. It functions as a security control as well as a spending one, capping the damage if credentials are ever compromised.
Access questions
Why is a Royal Vegas login not working?
In order of frequency: a password saved before the letters-and-numbers restriction truncated it, a temporary lock after failed attempts, an open identity verification hold, an active self-exclusion or time-out, or a sign-in attempt from a jurisdiction the licence does not cover. A password reset resolves the first; the others need either time or a document upload.
How is a Royal Vegas password reset?
Use the reset link under the password field, enter the email address registered on the account, and follow the emailed link. The new password may contain letters and numbers only. If no email arrives, check Promotions and Spam before contacting 24/7 live chat.
Can self-exclusion be cancelled early?
No. A self-exclusion runs its full term and no support agent can lift it, which is the point of the tool. Free and confidential help is available from ConnexOntario in Ontario and ProblemGambling.ca elsewhere in Canada, independently of the operator.
Is the Royal Vegas login page secure?
The genuine site runs the sign-in overlay over an encrypted connection. The greater risk is the destination rather than the transport: verify the footer carries Kahnawake licence 00892 and the Baytree Interactive Ltd company name before entering credentials, since look-alike domains for this brand do appear in search results.
How is a Royal Vegas account closed?
Closure is requested through live chat or email from the registered address. Withdraw any remaining balance first — the terms permit deduction of balances left on dormant accounts after prolonged inactivity. Account closure is administrative and is not the same thing as self-exclusion, which is a protective block with a fixed term.
Play responsibly
Gambling carries a real risk of financial loss. Minimum age is 19 in most Canadian provinces and territories, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Self-exclusion, time-outs and deposit limits are available from the account menu. Free, confidential support: ConnexOntario in Ontario, ProblemGambling.ca and provincial helplines elsewhere, Gambling Therapy online.

Marc Delaney
Editor, Canadian casino desk · Toronto, Ontario
Marc Delaney runs the Canadian casino desk behind this site. His job is narrow and stubborn: take the claims operators and other review sites make about a brand, check each one against a primary source, and publish the ones that do not survive the check.
That method came out of a simple observation. Six reviews of the same casino will name six different regulators, four different game counts and three different wagering requirements, and none of them will say where the figure came from. The desk's rule is that every number carries the source it was read from and the date it was read, including the numbers that make an operator look worse.
He does not write recommendations for brands the desk has not opened an account with, does not publish a rating without a scoring breakdown behind it, and does not run countdown timers or scarcity prompts on gambling pages. If a term is unfavourable, it goes above the fold rather than in a footnote.
